Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned

• Reinforces health care instructions to patients and families
• Plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care with the team
• Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
• Observes and reports vital signs and patient condition
• Documents patient responses to care
• Maintains safe and comfortable environment for patients
• Assists with unit management or acts as charge nurse as assigned
