Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process, ensuring accountability and confidentiality. The role emphasizes collaboration with multiple departments to evaluate and improve care quality.

Eligible candidates have an accredited nursing program education and an active RN license (state or compact) with BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time RNs with at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements.
• Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
