Avantara Lincoln Park in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team. This role provides high-quality nursing care, supervises CNAs, and collaborates with physicians to support residents’ care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice.
• CPR Certification.

Responsabilités

• Provides quality nursing care to Guests in an environment that promotes rights, dignity and freedom of choice.
• Supervises CNAs and subordinate staff to ensure assignments are completed.
• Assigns CNAs and other staff to Guests and schedules breaks and duties.
• Administers injections and medications within RN scope of practice.
• Maintains narcotics records and inventory per policy.
• Reviews documentation of controlled substances dispenses daily.
• Places pharmacy orders and documents prescribed medications.
• Performs contemporaneous charting and documents Guest progress.
• Ensures care plans are followed and reports status changes.

Formation
