Job summary

MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct clinical care, coordinate patient care, and supervise staff per shift. The role supports the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high-quality, safe nursing practice and efficient resource management.

Qualifying candidates must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and hold or be eligible for RN licensure; CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a state approved school of nursing
• Currently licensed or eligible to practice as required by state law
• CPR certification or equivalent

Responsibilities

• The RN provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients.
• The RN directs care according to safety standards, risk management, QI, and Infection Control to discharge patients with optimum care.
• Assumes responsibility for coordination and planning of patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
• Performs and fulfills HICS responsibilities in times of emergency or disaster.
• Knows the hospital emergency codes and follows policies for each code.
• Performs related duties as required
