Job summary

Southtowns Care Center is seeking Registered Nurse/Nurse Supervisors to care for our patients. The RN Supervisor oversees day-to-day clinical activities of health care staff such as LPNs and CNAs, interprets patient information, makes critical decisions, and administers medication and wound care.

We are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus (paid in quarterly installments). Requirements include a current NYS Registered Nurse license, 3 years RN experience preferred, and a current BLS certificate. EOE.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
• 3 Years RN experience preferred.
• Current BLS Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical activities of health care personnel (LPNs and CNAs).
• Interpret patient information and make critical decisions.
• Administer medication and wound care as needed.
• Mentor and supervise LPNs and CNAs.
• Document changes in residents' conditions and participate in care planning meetings.

We are currently paying a $5,000.00 sign on bonus (to be paid in quarterly installments) for this position.

• Ensure that personnel adhere to established polices and procedures.
• Document changes in resident's conditions.
• Participate in care planning meetings.
• Mentoring and supervision of LPN's and CNA's.
