Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to support students in Washington public school districts. This in-person role offers a weekday schedule during school hours, competitive pay, and opportunities to develop credentials.

You will manage care for students with chronic conditions, provide first aid, coordinate with teachers and families, and help maintain health records. New grads welcome; benefits include PTO, health coverage, and 401K.

Qualifications

• WA state nursing license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Current negative TB result.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• 1:1 support that may include g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, seizure precaution, etc.
• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
• Communicate with parents regarding their child’s health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
