Job summary

Ro Health is hiring Registered Nurses to work in Washington public school districts for the school year. In-person roles with Monday–Friday school-day schedules, start ASAP, and opportunities to obtain school nurse credentials.

Qualifications

• WA state nursing license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Current negative TB result is required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for students with chronic health conditions and coordinate with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• Provide 1:1 support including g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, and seizure precautions.
• Monitor immunization records for state compliance.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or illnesses.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records.
• Communicate health status and follow-up needs to parents.
• Stand, walk, and sit for long periods; frequently bend, crouch, and lift up to 40 pounds.

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
