TOSH Surgery Center in Murray, UT is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide lunch coverage in the Same-Day Surgery (SDS) and PACU. Join a fast-paced orthopedic ambulatory surgery team, delivering safe pre- and post-operative care while supporting admissions and discharges during busy periods.

Previous SDS/PACU or perioperative nursing is preferred; a collaborative, patient-focused approach is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current RN License.
• CPR required.
• ACLS required.
• PALS required.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Cares for patients.
• Records a patient’s medical history, symptoms, and vitals.
• Updates patient charts and electronic health records (EHR).
• Performs medical tasks, including blood tests and administering shots.
• Administers medication and other doctor-recommended treatment plans.
• Complies with federal, state, and local nursing regulations, standards, and policies.
• Collaborates with nurses, doctors, and administrators.
• Exhibits strong clinical skills
• Demonstrates excellent bedside manner
• Assess and take care of patient in PACU, and postoperative.

JOB TITLE : Registered Nurse Same-day Surgery

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Fast-paced orthopedic ambulatory surgery center seeking a part-time RN to provide lunch coverage in Same-Day Surgery (SDS) and PACU. Responsibilities include providing safe, efficient pre- and post-operative patient care, monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia, assisting with admissions and discharges, and supporting the team during high-volume periods.

Previous SDS/PACU, ambulatory surgery, or perioperative nursing experience preferred. Less experience may be considered based on the applicant's qualifications and willingness to learn. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and as part of a collaborative team.
