Job Summary

• Schedule: 7pm-7am, Night Shift, Full-time
• Department: LDRP
• Location: Ballantyne Medical Center – Ballantyne, NC

This position is for an LDRP unit, which includes Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum. We're seeking experienced registered nurses with at least two years of experience in Labor and Delivery or LDRP to provide exceptional care to new mothers and their newborns.

The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic, personalized relationship with the patient and their support system, collaborating with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote health or support a peaceful death. The RN uses scientific evidence and compassion to navigate the patient's health journey, accepting responsibility, authority, and accountability for care management according to current policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited nursing school required. If your RN license has been inactive for five years or more and you haven't been licensed in another state recently, a Board-approved refresher course is required before reactivation.
• Experience: One year relevant experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in the appropriate state required. ENPC, TNCC, or CEN preferred. NC state-approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire required.
