Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Women’s Services. This full-time night-shift role requires 3x12s (7p-7a) with rotating holidays and weekends.

The unit features an 11-bed Women’s Services Unit with Level 1 nursery and 6 LDRP rooms, delivering about 15 births monthly and a low C-section rate, offering a supportive environment for mothers and newborns.

Formación

• Active North Carolina RN license or compact state license.
• AHA BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
• Ability to think critically and work under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for New Grad RNs, $20,000 Sign-On Bonus for night shift and experienced RNs with a 2-year commitment for eligible candidates.

Join our team in an 11-bed Women\'s Services Unit featuring a Level 1 nursery and 6 LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) rooms. With an average of 15 deliveries per month and a below-average C-section rate, our unit provides comprehensive care for expectant mothers and newborns. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment dedicated to promoting a positive birthing experience and ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and infants alike.

How You\'ll Contribute

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs

What We\'re Looking For

Licenses: Active North Carolina or compact state RN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.

• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
