Nestled in the beautiful foothills of Western NC, located approximately 60 miles from Winston‑Salem and approximately 40 miles from Boone, our 130‑bed rural, community hospital includes a 10‑bed skilled nursing unit and offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including mother/baby, a state of the art critical care unit, surgical services, dialysis services, Diagnostic Imaging Center, and Wound Healing Center - all backed by the expertise of a nationally recognized academic medical center.
