Job summary

Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola, IA is hiring a Registered Nurse for weekend shifts (6pm–6am). The role provides direct nursing care, medication administration, and care coordination with the care team to ensure resident safety and quality of life.

You will collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, and providers, document care accurately, and uphold compliance with regulations. Competitive wages with shift differentials and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing in Iowa.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
• Empathy, respect, patience, and discretion in care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and other team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
