Job summary

Riverview Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations for Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 11 pm. This part-time role offers daily pay and requires an active Rhode Island RN license with BLS/CPR certification.

Expect supervision of nursing staff, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and quality resident care across a fast-paced facility. Two years of nursing experience are required; no prior supervisory experience is necessary as

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in Rhode Island.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of 2+ years nursing experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.

• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
