HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our General OR nursing team. The role supports patients and families through the nursing process, collaborates with physicians and staff, and oversees assigned nursing team members.

The position emphasizes compassionate care within hospital operations. The successful candidate will be licensed as an RN, preferably hold a BSN, and have BLS certification.

Pay Range:$34.00 - $51.00A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members. Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills, and answering questions.
