Job summary

PAM Health in Denver, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time position in a long-term acute care hospital. The RN will deliver and supervise patient care, participate in discharge planning, and support family teaching on post-hospital care.

Requirements include CO RN licensure (or compact), current BLS, and ACLS within 90 days. Inpatient med-surg experience preferred. Weekend shifts required with 12-hour days and potential $7 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Holds current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care planning and discharge teaching for patients and families.
• May serve as Charge Nurse; ACLS certification required.

Long-Term Acute Care Hospital- Denver, CO

Hourly Rate Range- $42-$58

This is a full time status opportunity to work Baylor shifts! This position is required to work 36 weekend hours (12 hour shifts) and be paid for a standard 40 hour work week.

Earn up to an additional $7/hr with shift differentials!

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Pay Range

USD $42.00 - USD $58.00 /Hr.
