Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise comprehensive patient care on the medical-surgical unit in Denver, CO. The RN will coordinate planning, teaching, and discharge planning while collaborating with the care team. Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days.

ACLS must be AHA-approved. Inpatient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or a compact license
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment and ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the unit using the nursing process
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization
• Carry out related duties as assigned, may serve as Charge Nurse (ACLS required)

Long-Term Acute Care Hospital- Denver, CO

Hourly Rate Range- $42-$58

Earn up to an additional $7/hr with shift differentials!

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Pay Range

USD $42.00 - USD $58.00 /Hr.
