Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for inpatient and ED coverage, with a demanding schedule of 11 weekends out of 12. You will collaborate with Providers and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care across the continuum, while mentoring teammates and maintaining professional conduct.

The role offers an hourly pay range of $34.25–$51.13, with a 40% weekend premium and a $4.00 night shift differential.

Qualifications

• RN-Registered Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS required.
• BSN preferred.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care coordination across inpatient/ED units.
• Collaborate with Providers and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Mentor assigned team members and uphold professional standards.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure, collaborating with Providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices and maintains professional disposition at all times. Will be scheduled and required to work 11 out of every 12 weekends. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment. Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
