Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse to protect, promote and restore health across care settings. The role requires active RN licensure in Illinois or Michigan and follows the highest practice standards with the care team.

You'll coordinate care, support patients and families, and mentor team members while working within an integrated system. The position pays hourly, with weekend premium and night shift premium, plus a comprehensive benefits package including BCBS and 401k.

Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date.

Pay range for this position is $37.05 - $54.54/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Stackable Pay Incentives:

• Weekend Premium: +40% premium of base rate for all hours worked within weekend program hours.
• Night Shift:+$4.00/hour

Overview

Position Summary:

Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
