Job summary

A Registered Nurse (RN) I - Hospice provides and plans professional nursing care to patients under the direction of a physician. This role involves delivering direct patient care, assisting with examinations, accurately documenting patient conditions, vital signs, diagnoses, and prescribed treatments.

The Level 1 RN also administers treatments and medications as directed, contributing to the comfort and symptom control of hospice patients.

Qualifications

• Performs work under minimal supervision.
• Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
• 0 to 2 years of experience
• Valid RN license in the state(s) where service is provided
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare-related field preferred
