Blessing Hospital in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in Cardiac Rehabilitation, both inpatient and outpatient. This position is responsible for assessing patient/family health problems and works directly with all members of the health care team in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan of care.
This position provides direct patient care in Cardiac Rehabilitation inpatient and outpatient programs. This position monitors patients during exercise sessions. Nursing responsibilities focus on the preventive and restorative healthcare needs of the cardiovascular patient. This position provides patient education on disease entities, cardiac risk factors, behavior modification.
This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including young adult through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.
Possesses current State RN license.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
