Job summary

Ardent Health seeks a Virtual Care Registered Nurse (RN) for day shift, full-time employment, delivering professional nursing care and clinical support via remote care platforms.

The role requires an active RN license (compact preferred), BLS, and at least three years of medical/surgical inpatient experience. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred. This position offers a technology-driven environment focused on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license or license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing, compact license preferred.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in medical/surgical inpatient nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and clinical support for assigned patients through virtual care platforms.
• Perform patient assessments, care coordination, patient education, clinical documentation, and ongoing patient monitoring using EMR and other health IT systems.
• Establish collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to promote quality outcomes and continuity of care.
• Adhere to organizational policies, nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and privacy guidelines to ensure safe, patient-centered care in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities

• The Virtual Care RN provides professional nursing care and clinical support for assigned patients through virtual and remote care platforms.
