Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a Unit Coordinator for 2 South-Telemetry / Med Surg. This is a Full Time , Night shift position in Suffolk, VA.

Hours: 7PM to 7AM with rotating weekend schedule.

The Cardiac Telemetry / Med Surg at Sentara Obici Hospital provides care for patients with cardiac conditions including heart failure, cardiac rhythm disturbances, newly implanted permanent pacemakers and defibrillators, post- coronary interventions, post-ablation, myocardial infarctions. 2 South also cares for pre/post catheterization, acute stroke, and post procedural neuro cases. This 25-bed unit sees a ratio of 1:6 with assistance of Patient Care Techs. The unit cares for patients with acuity higher than a typical medical-surgical unit. 2 South Acute Cardiac is also preparing for a transition to a Cardiac PCU step-down before year's end, making it an exciting opportunity for nurses seeking growth in a dynamic, high-acuity setting. Education

• Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (Required)
  • Masters of Science in Nursing - MSN (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure
