Position: Registered Nurse (RN), Trauma PI Coordinator (Part-time)
Hours: Varied daylight hours, totaling 20 hours per week

Department/Unit Summary

Conemaugh Memorial is a Level 1 trauma center accredited by the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation, handling approximately 1,800 trauma patients annually with varying injury severities. The role involves working closely with our full-time performance improvement coordinator to ensure optimal patient care and monitor outcomes for performance improvement. Attention to detail and critical thinking are essential.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must have a current state RN license and an associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Completion of the Basic Trauma Nurse Course
• Bachelor's degree within 7 years
• Minimum of three years in Trauma Nursing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Preferred qualifications include:

• Minimum of 3 years case management experience
• Minimum of 2 years critical care experience
• CEN, CCRN, or ANA certification
