Tenet Healthcare's JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for night shift. This role provides direct clinical patient care, assessments, and coordination with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality nursing care per shift.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved nursing program, active license, CPR and ACLS, and a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree preferred. The position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Summary

Up to $15,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Registered Nurse / RN
JFK Memorial Hospital has provided medical care to residents in the Coachella Valley since 1966. A group of physicians, including Dr. Reynaldo Carreon, founded the hospital and today one of JFK’s cross streets is named in his honor.

Originally called Indio Community Hospital, JFK has grown to a 145-bed acute-care hospital that is part of Tenet Healthcare California. It offers a variety of services, including:

Summary

This role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Shift: Nights

Hours: 1900-0730

Schedule: 6 shifts per two week pay period. Some weekends required.

Responsibilities

Has effective interpersonal and communication skills and ability to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Graduated from state approved school of nursing or an accredited school

Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).

Certifications Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. CPR, ACLS
