Job summary

Tower Health's Reading Hospital is hiring registered nurses for full-time and part-time day and night shifts in a 28-bed surgical unit with urology and dialysis expertise. The role focuses on evaluating, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care for a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or RN License.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Delivers nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation and documentation for diverse patients with complex needs.
• Performs patient tests and administers medications within RN scope.
• Promotes independence by setting care goals and teaching patients and families.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Full Time Night Shift : 7P-730A; weekend and holiday rotation
• Full Time and Part Time Day Shift 7A-730P; weekend and holiday rotation
