Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgical Inpatient/Med/Surg unit in Indianapolis, IN. Night shift, 7:00pm–7:30am, three 12-hour shifts per week with every third weekend and holiday rotations.

You will provide direct patient care, coordinate with the care team and support the patient’s health goals in a high-acuity surgical inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license to practice in Indiana.
• Three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Graduation from NLN/CCNE/ACEN or NLN CNEA accredited nursing school.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care across surgical inpatient, med/surg units and post-operative scenarios.
• Collaborate, delegate and manage resources to ensure safe, cost-effective care.

The RN manages patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner and demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• -Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• -Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
