Job summary

SupportFinity™ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Surgery to deliver direct patient care in the main OR. You will collaborate with patients, families, peers, physicians and the health care team to assess needs, plan and evaluate care.

This full-time role requires CA RN licensure, BLS, and one year of acute care experience or completion of Eisenhower Nurse Residency. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available, with prorated payments for part-time roles.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN or enrollment in RN-BSN/RN-MSN within 1 year of hire and completion within five years.
• California RN licensure and BLS from AHA required on hire.
• One year of acute care RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency.

Job Objective:

• Provides direct patient care, collaborates with patients, families, peers, physicians and other members of the health care team in the delivery of health care services to the specific patient population. Assesses patient's needs, plans care, implements and evaluates patient care in accordance with the patient’s needs based on the nurse’s knowledge of growth/development, the hospital and nursing philosophy, policies/procedures and standards. Demonstrates leadership skills and a commitment to professional accountability and growth.

Qualifications:

Education:

Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s degree in Nursing or enrollment in an RN-BSN or RN-MSN program within one (1) year of hire and completion within five (5) years of hire if hired after July 1, 2012

Licensure/Certification:

• Required: California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA) required in all departments upon hire;
• Additional certifications required as outlined based on assigned department on job posting

Experience:

• Required: One (1) year of acute care RN experience or successful completion of Eisenhower’s Nurse Residency Program
• Preferred: Experience in the area of specialty

*A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time RN positions. Part-time RN roles are eligible for a prorated bonus. The bonus is paid in installments of $2,500 with the first paycheck, $2,500 at one year, and $5,000 at two years.
