Job summary

Medical Edge, recruiting on behalf of a client, seeks a Registered Nurse – Operating Room in the United States. The role performs thorough pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to promote safe patient care and supports an efficient operating room workflow.

Candidates must hold a current North Carolina RN license or Compact RN license with North Carolina endorsement; BLS within 30 days and ACLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One year of Operating Room RN experience preferred; candidates new to the OR may be considered based on overall nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs thorough pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to promote safe patient care.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgical team and supports an efficient operating room workflow.
• Provides age- and procedure-appropriate nursing care throughout the perioperative process.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
• Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve high-quality patient outcomes.

Schedule: Typical hours are 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, plus 1–2 call shifts per week $20,000 Sign-On Bonus Opportunity
