Metric Systems LLC in Beckley, WV is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The role focuses on perioperative care in a fast-paced environment, supporting circulator and surgical technologists across orthopedic and other specialties.

You will assess patients, plan and deliver age-appropriate nursing care, and document care accurately. Requirements include an active RN license, an ADN or BSN, 1+ year of surgery experience, and BLS with ACLS/PALS within designated timeframes.

Responsibilities

Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery

My client is hiring a Registered Nurse for the main Operating Room, which features seven fully equipped procedure rooms. Each room is staffed with one circulator and two surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient care and support. The OR team manages a broad range of specialties, including orthopedic and orthopedic trauma, sports medicine, general surgery, gynecology, vascular, podiatry, spine procedures, DaVinci robotic cases, trauma, and urology. Nurses in this unit must maintain current PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications. The OR supports both inpatient and outpatient cases, creating a dynamic, fast‑paced environment for the nursing team.

Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• 1+ years of Surgery experience
• __Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• ASLS certification preferred.
