Job summary

Buffalo Center, a 200-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead weekend shift teams in our LTC setting. You will schedule and supervise nursing staff, ensure quality resident care, and maintain regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has a NYS RN license, at least 3 years in long-term care, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with EHR and Eprescribing systems.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid NYS RN license.
• Minimum 3 years Long-Term Care experience required.
• Familiar with EHR and Eprescribing programs.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Available to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign nursing staff during weekend shifts.
• Provide support to residents and families to maintain a compassionate environment.
• Answer questions and requests to residents and staff.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment by following rules and regulations.
• Oversee documentation of resident care services.

Duties Include:

• Complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents & families
• Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests
• Establish a safe & clean working environment by implementing rules &regulations
• Promote resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing
• Manage documentation of resident care services
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams

Requirements:

• Must hold valid NYS RNlicense
• Minimum 3 years Long-Term Care experience required
• Strong and positive Team Director for all members of the staff
• Familiar with EHR and Eperscribing programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Must be available to work every other weekend.
