Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing care provided by RNs, LPNs, CNAs and others.
• Review and implement nursing procedures and systems.
• Assess and evaluate systems enabling quality resident care and staff performance.
• Apply the nursing process to provide individualized care.
• Contribute to resident assessments (MDS/CAA) and care plans.
• Develop and implement care plans based on assessments.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions and medications.

Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor - Sign On Bonus

Afternoon Supervisor $10,000 sign on bonus! Paid out quarterly after 90 days.

Are you an experienced RN with a passion for leading and teaching other skilled nursing staff? The RN Shift Supervisor provides, plans, coordinates or manages nursing care and health education for nursing home residents.

Resonsibilites

• Supervises nursing care provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing assistants and others
• Reviews and implements all nursing procedures and systems.
• Assesses and evaluates the systems which facilitate the delivery of quality Resident care and performance of staff
• Uses a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care.
• Contributes to the Resident’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a plane of care.
• Develops a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Evaluates the Resident’s responses to nursing interventions.Knows the rational for the effect of medications and treatments and correctly administer same

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Current state license to practice as a nurse., RN
• Current CPR certification and additional certification in nursing specialty desired.
• Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing desired.
