Vibra Specialty Hospital of Portland, located in Portland, OR, is a 65-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care services for complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly environment where you get to know your patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient, high-quality patient care.
- Manage personnel and coordinate nursing service activities for the scheduled shift, in line with hospital policies.
- Develop systems and procedures for daily operations.
- Provide training, support, and problem-solving assistance to staff.
Required Skills
- Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Current, valid RN license in the state of employment.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
Additional Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Critical care experience (preferred).
- Three years of experience in an acute care setting (preferred).
- Prior supervisory experience (preferred).
- CCRNg (preferred).
- Professional image and knowledge of regulatory standards.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in computer and software applications used in job functions.
