Job Opportunity: RN Supervisor - Westminster Winter Park

Westminster Winter Park, an Active Living Community in Winter Park, is seeking an RN Supervisor for the 11p-7am shift.

We are a church-related, not-for-profit community service organization dedicated to providing services for older adults and persons with special needs.

Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise all floor nurses and staff to ensure care is provided according to established standards, resolve staff conflicts, and manage call-offs/no-shows.
  2. Assist the ADON/DON in calculating daily staffing needs based on census requirements.
  3. Review doctor's orders for new and current residents to ensure appropriate care.
  4. Oversee and assist nurses with resident assessments.
  5. Coordinate care through communication with residents' families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
  6. Address and manage family concerns regarding resident care.
  7. Update ADON/DON on significant resident or health center situations.
  8. Enter admission orders into ECS for new residents.
  9. Assist nurses in managing emergencies within the Health Center or independent living areas.
  10. Request supplies from Central Supply as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current Florida RN license.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience.
  • CPR certification.
  • Desirable: one year of long-term care experience; helpful experience includes Med-surg, Home Health, Emergency Room, or working with developmentally disabled adults.
Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing (RN).
  • COVID-19 vaccination.
  • RN license.
  • First Aid certification.
