Position Overview

Westminster Winter Park, an active living community in Winter Park, has an open position for an RN Supervisor, 11p-7am. We are a church-related, not-for-profit community service organization dedicated to providing services for older adults and persons with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all floor nurses and staff to ensure care is provided according to established standards, resolve conflicts, and manage call-offs or no-shows.
• Assist the ADON/DON with calculating daily staffing needs based on census.
• Review doctors' orders for residents and ensure care aligns with current orders.
• Oversee and assist in resident assessments.
• Coordinate care through communication with residents’ families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Manage family concerns related to resident care.
• Update ADON/DON on significant resident or health center issues.
• Enter admission orders for new residents into ECS.
• Assist nurses in managing emergencies within the health center or independent living areas.
• Request supplies from Central Supply as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• CPR certification.
• Desirable: one year of long-term care, with helpful experience in Med-surg, Home Health, Emergency Room, or working with developmentally disabled adults.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing (RN).

Licenses & Certifications

• COVID-19 vaccination.
• RN license.
• First Aid certification.
