Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:

• Coordinate and direct clinical operations during assigned shifts.
• Ensure appropriate staffing according to guidelines and manage staffing coverage, including replacing canceled shifts.
• Maximize staff utilization to ensure optimal resident care.
• Complete all charting before shift end.
• Manage admissions, transfers, and discharges with complete and accurate documentation and care planning.
• Initiate investigations for incidents such as accidents, altercations, or unexplained injuries, following proper documentation guidelines.
• Supervise and instruct nursing personnel on new procedures, policies, treatments, and equipment.
• Assist with technical procedures, including initiating IV infusions.
• Monitor lab results and conduct clinical assessments of residents showing signs of illness or pain, documenting findings appropriately.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Preferred skilled nursing experience.
• Valid nursing license.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and fill in as needed.
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
• Ability to explain treatments and conditions clearly.
• Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.

Salary: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
