Job summary

Delmar Gardens of Chesterfield invites a qualified Registered Nurse to join us as a supervisor, helping nurse managers oversee clinical operations across our skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers.

You will monitor workflow, perform rounds, direct nursing services, document resident care, and serve as a resource for staff while upholding our Love, Care, and Understanding philosophy.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri.
• Experience supervising nursing staff and coordinating clinical operations.
• Strong communication and rounds delivery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workflow of staff and redefine priorities as needed.
• Make rounds on all divisions to ensure resident care needs are met.
• Direct and evaluate nursing services on shift.
• Identify residents at high risk and communicate with staff.
• Ensure resident care is documented during shift.
• Perform nursing procedures per standards (wound care, catheterizations, tracheal care, tube feedings, oxygen).
• Act as a resource for nursing staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Delmar Gardens of Chesterfield is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to work as a supervisor. The candidate will assist nurse managers with overseeing the clinical operations of our beautiful skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers.

Shift Availability

• Full-Time Evening shift
• Full-Time Night shift

The shift manager will:

• Monitor work flow of staff and redefine priorities as needed
• Make rounds on all divisions to ensure resident care needs are met
• Direct and evaluate nursing services provided on assigned shift, ensuring delivery of quality of resident care
• Demonstrate knowledge of residents who are at high risk for negative outcomes and communicate to staff at all levels
• Ensure appropriate resident care is documented during shift
• Perform a variety of nursing procedures according to acceptable standards of practice such as wound care, catheterizations, tracheal care, tube feedings, and administering oxygen
• Act as a resource for nursing staff
• Other duties as assigned
