Qualifications

• Long-term care experience.
• One year of RN supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.
• Current unencumbered RN license in the state of employment.
• CPR certification.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily Shift Oversight: lead daily shifts ensuring smooth clinical operations.
• Clinical PCP Dashboard: oversee the PCP dashboard to keep information up-to-date.
• Wound Rounds: conduct weekly wound rounds and monitor resident care.
• Admissions/Discharges: manage resident admissions and discharges with appropriate care plans.
• Order Verifications: verify medication and treatment orders for accuracy.
• Notification Verifications: ensure timely notification of changes in residents' conditions.
• Resident Appointments: coordinate and track appointments.
• IRIS Report: review daily IRIS reports and ensure compliance.
• May need to cover open shifts.

Pay range: Up to $42/hr.

Shift: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily Shift Oversight: Provide leadership during daily shifts, ensuring clinical operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Clinical PCP Dashboard: Oversee the clinical Primary Care Physician (PCP) dashboard, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
• Wound Rounds: Conduct weekly wound rounds to assess, document, and monitor resident wound care.
• Admissions/Discharges: Manage and coordinate resident admissions and discharges, ensuring smooth transitions and appropriate care plans.
• Order Verifications: Verify medication and treatment orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with care plans.
• Notification Verifications: Ensure timely and accurate notification of changes in residents' conditions to appropriate parties.
• Resident Appointments: Coordinate and track resident appointments to ensure all medical needs are addressed.
• IRIS Report: Review and monitor daily IRIS (Infection Prevention and Reporting) reports, ensuring compliance and reporting any concerns.
• Additional Responsibilities: May need to cover open shifts

Qualifications:

• Required Education and Experience: Long-term care experience. One year of Registered Nurse supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.
• Preferred Education and Experience: Associate's Degree from an accredited School of Nursing. Minimum one year of recent Registered Nurse geriatric nursing experience.
• Required Licensure and Certifications: Registered Nurse with current unencumbered license in the state of employment. Currently certified in CPR.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
