Job summary

Buffalo Center in Buffalo, NY is seeking an RN Supervisor to manage nursing staff, coordinate resident care, and uphold quality standards in a 200-bed rehab and skilled nursing facility. You will guide a team, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain resident dignity and independence.

The role requires an active NYS RN license, 3+ years inLong-Term Care, and strong leadership. EHR and eprescribing familiarity are preferred; weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS RN license and provide valid credentials.
• Minimum 3 years Long-Term Care experience is required.
• Strong leadership and ability to direct nursing staff.
• Excellent communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Proficient with EHR systems and eprescribing tools.
• Solid computer skills and attention to privacy.

Responsibilities

Duties Include:

• Complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff




• Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents & families




• Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests




• Establish a safe & clean working environment by implementing rules &regulations




• Promote resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing




• Manage documentation of resident care services




• Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams

Requirements:

• Must hold valid NYS RNlicense




• Minimum 3 years Long-Term Care experience required




• Strong and positive Team Director for all members of the staff




• Familiar with EHR and Eperscribing programs




• Excellent communication skills




• Basic computer skills




• Must be available to work every other weekend.
