Where you will work: 5 South: Stroke ACE Med/Surg is a 34 inpatient acute care Med/Surg unit caring for a wide variety of diagnosis including Stroke, Seizures, Neuro focus, Diabetes, Electrolyte imbalance, Kidney Disease, Mental Health, Dementia, Alzheimer’s. This is an excellent unit to build a neurological focus, foundational skills, become certified in the specialty of Med/Surg and develop specialized skills applicable to any area in nursing. Culture: Collaborative, supportive, teaching Skill Mix: equal mix of new graduates and experienced team staff Typical RN to Patient Ratio: Days: 1:4-5, Nights: 1:5-6
