Aurora West Allis Medical Center in West Allis, WI is seeking an RN for the Intermediate Care Unit Weekend Program. The role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, rotating Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or weekends plus a weekday shift.
You will complete a Preceptor-directed orientation, triage, lab interpretation, pathophysiology, pharmacology, time management, and effective communication for intermediate acuity patients.

Where you will work: Inpatient Beds: 16
Patient population: moderately stable patients with elevated risk for instability. Patients may include ICU step down, patients who are chronically ventilated via tracheostomy, patients with higher risk of decompensation via trends of lab data, vital signs, and comorbidities.

Typical RN to Patient Ratio: 1:3-4 days, 1:3-4 nights
