Department/Unit Summary

The Trauma Intermediate Step-Down Unit is a comprehensive medical unit offering specialized surgical treatments and general medical care. It handles trauma surgeries, vascular surgeries, bariatric surgeries, and provides critical care for acute injuries, along with general medicine services. The unit has 20 beds and a highly qualified staff dedicated to achieving excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must hold a current state RN license and have an associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• CPR certification
• At least one year of acute care or comparable nursing experience
• ACLS certification preferred
