Community Health Network MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Stem Cell Transplant/Cellular Therapy Unit. This night position involves 7:00pm–7:30am on three 12-hour shifts weekly, with weekend and holiday rotation.

The RN will manage inpatient SCT care and collaborate with the SCTCT team to meet accreditation standards and ongoing education requirements. Candidates must graduate from an accredited nursing program or have 3+ years of nursing experience and hold Indiana

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited nursing program.
• Or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Indiana (NLC)

Responsabilités

• Work with the SCTCT team to maintain FACT accreditation standards and continuing education credits.

Make a Difference

Registered Nurse will be responsible for demonstrating performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network. The RN manages patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner and demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources.

Manage the complete care of the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy (SCTCT) inpatient. Work collaboratively with the SCTCT team to learn and maintain all aspects of applicable FACT accreditation standards; maintain continuing education credits as required to support cancer product line accreditations.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
