Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Same-Day Surgery Center in Norfolk, VA. This part-time role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and rotates through Pre-op and Phase II recovery across four 8-hour shifts per week. No weekends or holidays.

ADN required; BSN preferred; Virginia or compact license and BLS required. The base pay ranges from $41.93 to $61.01 per hour, with typical additional compensation like shift differentials and overtime

Qualifications

• Active Virginia or Compact multi-state RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 24 months of RN experience in an acute care setting; ED/ICU experience preferred.
• ADN is required; BSN or higher degree preferred.

Requirements

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• 24 months of experience as an RN in an Acute care setting - ED and ICU experience desired.
• Education ADN Required, BSN or higher preferred

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
