Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a day shift, full-time Same Day Surgery PACU Registered Nurse in Pocatello, Idaho.

You will deliver compassionate perioperative care, monitor patients post-anesthesia, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and the recovery team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.

The role requires Idaho RN licensure, BLS with ACLS within 6 months, and prior PACU or OR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Idaho.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process.
• Respond to life-threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.
• Organize care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with providers/leaders.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols. The RN responds to life threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions. The RN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Previous OR and CVOR experience
• CNOR
