Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Richmond Float team, covering multiple facilities in the Richmond market. The Float RN will travel to various sites, providing care in Behavioral Health and Medical-Surgical units according to policy. 36 hours weekly with self-scheduling and shift options.

Requirements include an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, current RN licensure, and ACLS certification. Two+ years of clinical RN experience in BH and MS is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide advanced treatment and care to patients with complex diagnoses.
• Evaluates, updates and revises plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and Bon Secours policies and procedures.

Job Summary:

If you are looking for flexibility then the Richmond Float Team is for you! The Float nurse will follow all Bon Secours policies and procedures. Float RNs go to all sites in our Richmond market and float to Behavioral Health and Med Surg Units.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Richmond Float Facilities -

• St. Mary's Hospital (Richmond – West End)
• St. Francis Medical Center (Midlothian)
• Richmond Community Hospital (Richmond-Churchill)
• Memorial Regional Medical Center (Mechanicsville)
• Southside Medical Center (Petersburg)

Float Between the following units:

• Med Surg - Ortho - Oncology
• Telemetry
• Behavioral Health (Must also have floor med/surg experience)

Float Team Flexibility!

• 36 hoursa week
• Self-Scheduling – pick your availability
• 1 Summer and 1 Winter holiday required
• Every Third Weekend Required
• Full Time night shift or days shift available
• Shift differential available for night and weekend shifts

Essential Functions:
