Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required or obtained within five years from hire date; internal candidates with extended service may be considered.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent, RN with extensive experience may satisfy requirement.
• Advanced Nursing degree (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
• RN license in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement required.
• ACLS/NALS/PALS/TNCC/NRP certifications as required by unit.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• One year of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• You will use nursing education and experience to deliver care per hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff and health care team members.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.

Department Specific Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of PCU or ICU level nursing experience is required. (New graduate RNs or RNs without this experience, please apply to a Residency or Fellowship opportunity)

• You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement
• Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
• Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL)
• Current BLS Certification required
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department
• Certification in specialty area preferred
• One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred
