Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated RNs to provide exceptional care in our Emergency Department. Key responsibilities include:
- Using the nursing process to assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes, involving patients and families in the process.
- Recognizing and responding to significant changes in patient conditions, coordinating with the healthcare team, and adjusting care plans accordingly.
- Implementing safety strategies, assessing patient and family learning needs, and developing educational approaches.
- Coordinating discharge planning with an interdisciplinary team, applying evidence-based practices, and adhering to regulatory standards.
- Evaluating patient, team, and unit outcomes, supporting process improvements, and participating in quality initiatives.
- Communicating effectively, demonstrating leadership, delegating appropriately, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Promoting a safety culture by identifying threats, reporting safety events, and assisting with corrective actions.
- Applying ethical decision-making, respecting peers and disciplines, and contributing to a positive care environment.
- Engaging in professional development activities, attending educational programs, and completing required competencies.
- Providing age-appropriate care, understanding growth and development principles, and interpreting patient data to meet individual needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid RN license issued by the practicing state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Typically, at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
