Highpoint Health Sumner in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU). This full-time day shift position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a mission to provide exceptional rehabilitation care to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness.

The IRU focuses on physical, occupational, and speech therapy to maximize recovery, while supporting a smooth return to the community and higher-quality life for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current TN or multi-state RN licensure.
• Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or RN Diploma in Nursing.
• American Heart Association BCLS; new non-AHA BLS holders have 30 days to complete AHA version.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must work in a stressful environment.

How you’ll contribute

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU) is a specialized 17‑bed facility dedicated to providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients requiring intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy following significant injury, surgery, or illness. The unit’s goal is to maximize patient recovery, restore functional abilities, and facilitate a smooth transition back to the community or a lower level of care.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should have a current State of Tennessee or Multi‑State Registered Nurse licensure and possess an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or RN Diploma in Nursing.

• Current RN to practice in the state of TN.
