Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for inpatient or ED roles. The RN will protect, promote and restore health, collaborating with providers to deliver coordinated care 24/7 in the hospital setting.

Requirements include an active RN license in IL or MI and BLS; BSN is preferred. EMR and MS Office proficiency are also expected, with generous benefits and a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois or Michigan.
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS certification.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records and basic Microsoft Office proficiency.

Pay range for this position is $34.25 - $51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

STACKABLE PAY INCENTIVES:

• Night Shift Differential: +$4.00/hour
• Weekend Differential: +$3.25/hour

LIMITED WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS:

*Self-scheduled per 6 week plotter

• 0-4 years of RN Experience = 4 Weekend Shifts
• 4-10 years of RN Experience = 3 Weekend Shifts
• 10-15 years of RN Experience = 2 Weekend Shifts
• 15+ years of RN Experience = No weekend Shifts

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
