Job summary

PIH Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process and a collaborative, team-based approach. You will work with physicians, staff, and patients' families to deliver safe, therapeutic care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Requirements include a California RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and six months of recovery room experience if possible. This is a full-time, on-site position with a focus on quality care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current California RN License required.
• LA City Fire Card within six months of employment.
• BLS from American Heart Association required.
• ACLS from American Heart Association required.
• PALS from American Heart Association within six months of employment.
• Six months of experience preferred in the Recovery Room.

Job description

Responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on policies and procedures. Delivers individualized quality patient care through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, other departments and the patient’s family. Complies with the California Nurse Practice Act, Article 2, Section 2725 of the Business and Professions Code.
